Star Wars Outlaws PC system requirements confirmed by Ubisoft
Ubisoft's Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled to launch on PC and consoles on August 30, or August 27 if you buy the Gold/Ultimate Edition. The decision to paywall early access and quests has received some flack, as did a 10-minute clip of its gameplay. Now, Ubisoft has revealed its system requirements, confirming you'll need a beefy PC to experience Star Wars Outlaws in all its glory.

Star Wars Outlaws requires at least 16 GB of RAM and 65 GB of hard disk space to run on your PC. It is one of the many games that has been optimized around AI-powered upscalers like Nvidia DLSS, AMD FSR and Intel XeSS, a worrying trend seen across the industry. After all, the tech was designed to extract more performance out of lower-end hardware and not as a crutch for developers.
These Star Wars Outlaws PC requirements also tell us that modern-day consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will have a hard time running the game at 4K. A 60 FPS mode, if available at launch, will severely affect visual fidelity, meaning it joins the ever-growing list of games that have to be played at last-gen frame rates. To make matters worse, Sony has still not acknowledged the PlayStation 5 Pro officially and Microsoft straight up said it has no plans to make a more powerful Series X.
