Reviews for the Sony Xperia 10 VI
The Xperia 10 VI is a small and handy smartphone. However, this mid-range mobile phone boasts a very long battery life, which is often a weak point in compact phones. Read the Sony Xperia 10 review to find out if this makes the Sony phone a worthwhile investment.

Sony’s ability to deliver a phone this talented in the picture and sound department for this price should be studied by other manufacturers. We’ve seen phones that cost double or even triple the price of the Xperia 10 VI unable to deliver a performance like this; thus proving that you don’t need to spend ludicrous amounts of money if you want a handset that doubles as an impressive portable music and movie player.

The Xperia 10 VI is still a pretty niche device. It carries over the 21:9 aspect ratio that Sony ditched with the flagship, so if you fancy long and narrow phones, you might like this one. The phone has a great screen, albeit capable of only 60Hz, and it's also pretty lightweight and comfortable to use. Couple that with the added bonus of a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack, and you get the typical Xperia package. However, the competition in this price range is pretty fierce. The Xperia costs around $431 (after conversion from 399 euros), and for that kind of money, you have options. The Nothing Phone (2a) is cheaper and performs better in almost every department, and if you add a few bucks, you can get the Pixel 8a, which is a better phone hands down. The Galaxy A55 is cheaper as well, and it comes with a 120Hz display plus longer software support. Choosing the Xperia 10 VI over the aforementioned phone might be a hard decision that might not pay off.

The Xperia 10 VI is a truly unique device; there are no two ways about it. Its dimensions alone make it stand out. While the Xperia 1 VI decided to go for a more standard display aspect ratio this time around, the Xperia 10 VI stuck to its roots and still offers a cinematic 21:9 display. Other great features it continues to offer include a lightweight body made in part from recycled and environmentally-friendly plastics, IP68 ingress protection, a powerful and very clean stereo speaker setup, a 3.5mm audio jack, great battery life and expandable storage. However, the Xperia 10 VI isn't a perfect device. Frankly, we aren't even talking about the obvious omission of the telephoto camera from last year since the main camera mostly picks up the slack with its digital 2x zoom decently well.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
