Reviews for the Oppo F29

The OPPO F29 stands out as one of the most durable smartphones for Rs 23,999. It boasts an IP69 rating and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, which are typically reserved for ultra-premium devices. Beyond its rugged credentials, the handset strikes a balance between design, battery life, and day-to-day usability, making it a decent option in the mid-range segment. Highlights include an immersive AMOLED display and a massive 6,500mAh battery that easily lasts a full day on a single charge. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, which handles everyday tasks and light gaming with ease. On the software front, the F29 ships with Android 15, complemented by OPPO’s thoughtful customisations. While it may not lead the pack in raw performance or camera capabilities, the F29 focuses on what matters most to mainstream users – especially those shopping offline: durability, display quality, and long-term reliability.

Priced at Rs 23,999, the Oppo F29 5G excels in certain areas, including build quality, battery life, and, to some extent, design. While it delivers a good day-to-day performance, it may not be able to take on heavy workloads. F29 5G isn’t a one-size-fits-all device but is well-suited for users who prioritize its strengths.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.74.5%: This rating is poor. More than three quarters of the models are rated better. That is rather not a purchase recommendation. Even if verbal ratings in this area do not sound that bad ("sufficient" or "satisfactory"), they are usually euphemisms that disguise a classification as a below-average laptop.
