There is just over one month to go until Samsung's UNPACKED event in San Francisco, but the company may have shown the world what the Galaxy S10 looks like, albeit briefly. A Reddit user spotted an alleged render of the unreleased device in a One UI press release, which looks like a blunder by Samsung at first glance.
However, the user has no previous posts or comments, so it is worth keeping in mind that this could be a marketing tactic by Samsung to generate more speculation about the Galaxy S10. The timing of the Reddit post is also suspect, mainly as it came just a day before Samsung announced its Galaxy UNPACKED event, where it is likely that the company will announce the Galaxy S10 series.
The potential render is in keeping with Samsung's Infinity-O display, which the company debuted with the Galaxy A8s in December last year. The camera cut-out is on the opposite side of the screen to the A8s, but this consistent with other Galaxy S10 leaks on which we have reported.
The Galaxy UNPACKED event will take place in San Francisco on February 20. We will keep you updated with all that is announced on the day, but you can also head to samung.com on the day if you would like to watch a live stream of the event. There have been multiple leaks and rumours suggesting that Samsung could release up to four versions of the Galaxy S10 including a 5G model, so the UNPACKED event may be an extremely busy one for the South Korean manufacturer.
What do you think of the brief appearance of the alleged Galaxy S10 and its front-facing camera cut-out?
