Samsung's brand-new 2026 Micro RGB TV series is now official, featuring the flagship R95H and the standard R85H. Prices start at $1,599 for the 55-inch model and reach $29,999 for the 115-inch flagship.

Samsung Electronics America has officially announced the launch of its 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup with the flagship R95H and the standard R85H series. These televisions utilize thousands of microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs that emit light independently. Because of this, there's no need for a traditional backlight and color filter. This minimizes color bleed and allows precise color reproduction. According to VDE certification, the panels achieve 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color area.

The hardware is powered by the new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro. This processor handles real-time image enhancements such as the AI Motion Enhancer Pro, which is designed to sharpen fast-moving objects in sports and gaming. It also includes a Color Booster Pro to "intelligently" saturate scenes with duller tones. The flagship R95H, which was announced earlier this year at CES, gets Samsung’s Glare Free technology, which uses a matte finish to reduce reflections and maintain image depth in bright rooms.

The AI integration is not just limited to image processing - Samsung has also included the Vision AI Companion. This feature uses a large language model (LLM) to enable conversational interactions via Bixby. Users can ask for information about on-screen content, request dinner suggestions, or plan trips directly through the TV interface. The system also includes native apps for Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.

Sports and audio have also received AI-driven updates. AI Soccer Mode Pro recognizes matches on screen and automatically boosts the colors of jerseys and grass while improving the clarity of commentary and crowd noise. The AI Sound Controller Pro allows viewers to independently adjust the volume of voices, music, and sound effects, with the ability to isolate or remove commentary altogether. For home cinema setups, Q-Symphony now allows for the synchronization of up to five Samsung sound devices, alongside standard support for Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound.

The 2026 lineup is built on the One UI Tizen platform, which Samsung has committed to updating for up to seven years. Design-wise, the R95H supports Wireless One Connect Ready, so that you can get a cable-free look by moving input ports to a separate wireless box. Both series are compatible with the Slim Fit Wall Mount for flush-to-wall installation and provide access to the Samsung Art Store.
