TechTalkTV has outlined major design differences between the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro, days on from leaking hands-on images of the Galaxy Z Flip4. According to TechTalkTV, the Galaxy Watch5 will retain its predecessor's design, which has a flat display surrounded by a touch-sensitive bezel. Samsung introduced this bezel style with the Galaxy Watch Active2, but returned to a moving bezel with the Galaxy Watch3.
Allegedly, Samsung plans to replace the latter with another capacitive bezel, albeit one that differs from the version that the Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Watch4 have. Supposedly, the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will have a raised bezel, effectively combining the two solutions that Samsung already offers. TechTalkTV adds that the raised bezels will improve usability compared to the flat bezel on the Galaxy Watch4, with its design avoiding accidental display touches.
Moreover, TechTalkTV claims that the Galaxy Watch5 Pro will offer 'phenomenal' battery life, on account of its 572 mAh battery that the FCC has since confirmed. Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro on August 26 at a Galaxy Unpacked event with the Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4. Potentially, Samsung could open pre-orders over two weeks earlier though, which Jon Prosser revealed last week.
