Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 specs list spotted, dual main camera and in-display fingerprint reader included
Samsung will soon shake the foundation of the global tablet market with the Galaxy Tab S6, a new slate that is the successor of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835-powered Galaxy Tab S4 because the tech giant based in South Korea has decided to skip the Tab S5 name. This upcoming Android tablet will come with a few "world's first" features and specs and it will probably be unveiled at the Galaxy Note 10 launch event which is scheduled to take place on August 7.
If the Galaxy Tab S6 turns out to be as rumored, it will debut as the world's first tablet with an in-display fingerprint reader and a dual camera on the back. Since we are talking about a Samsung premium slate, it will also sport a Super AMOLED display, a new S-Pen stylus, DeX compatibility, Bixby support, and Android 9.0 Pie-based firmware.
In addition to the above, there is also an 8 MP selfie shooter, 128 GB and 256 GB storage options, at least 6 GB of memory, microSD support up to 512 GB, a battery with fast charging support and up to 15 hours of autonomy. There is no word about pricing yet, but since we are talking about a top-of-the-line tablet with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor inside, we should expect it to retail for more than US$800, probably more.
