SOL REPUBLIC's 3rd-gen TWS earbuds upgrade to ANC and USB type C charging
The Amps Air + are the latest TWS earbuds from SOL REPUBLIC. They are the brand's first such product with active noise cancellation (ANC). These new Amps also now feature a slimmer case with USB type C charging, which can deliver 2 hours of play-time in exchange for 15 minutes of being plugged in.
The SOL REPUBLIC Amps Air + are the first in their series of TWS earphones with ANC. These buds may also stand out in their category due to the diamond-cut texture found on their external surfaces. They also have a new, slimmer charging case that features a USB type C port.
This case may not feature the in-built 2200mAh power bank found in that of their predecessors, the Amps Air 2. However, the Air + bud-holder may make up for that with quick charging. It is also rated to add between up to 18 and 24 hours of extra play-back time, depending on whether ANC is used or not. Similarly, the buds themselves can run from approximately 6 to 8 hours per charge.
The Amps Air + also offer IPX4 sweat and water resistance, as well as low-energy Bluetooth 5.0. They also come with several different sizes of ear-tips. They are available from now on the SOL REPUBLIC website for US$199.99.

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
