Retroid Pocket Nova: design and display specs revealed

Following an earlier announcement of its plans to launch a new handheld called the Pocket Nova, which will have a 4:3 display, Retroid has now shared more details of the device. Posting on its social media channels, Retroid has provided technical specifications of the display and revealed what the handheld looks like.
The Retroid Pocket Nova will have a frosted translucent shell with a clear D-pad and ABXY buttons. It will also feature symmetrical thumbsticks with RGB rings and two front-facing speakers. While most of its technical specs are not known, Retroid has revealed the details of the display.
According to the image, the Retroid Pocket Nova will have a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 1280 × 960 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This display is larger than the 3.92-inch OLED display of the discontinued Pocket Mini V2 which had a 1240 × 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.
It is expected that the rest of the specs will be revealed as time goes on, probably in bits just like Ayaneo is doing with the upcoming Pocket Micro 2. There's also bound to be more colors available other than the one in the image above. Nevertheless, with the details already released, the Retroid Pocket Nova is shaping up to be an interesting 4:3 horizontal handheld.
