Realme is set to end the year on a high note with the imminent launch of its most ambitious smartphone yet. The company announced the Realme GT2 Pro a while ago just after the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 launch, and has now confirmed what appears to be a launch date for the upcoming premium phone.
As shared officially, Realme is set to host an event for the Realme GT2 series on December 20. Available information indicates that the phone to debut on that day will be the Realme GT2 Pro, Realme's first attempt at making a proper flagship phone, and what will likely be the second smartphone to be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Tipster Digital Chat Station purports that the event will not be a formal launch event but the Realme GT2 Pro is almost certain to be unveiled on that date at least, with Realme likely looking to beat the upcoming Xiaomi 12 to the punch. Either way, the tipster also claims that the phone will go on sale before the Chinese Spring Festival in February.
