A hands-on image of the Realme GT 2 Pro shows its under-display selfie camera in all its glory. Realme is expected to unveil two editions of the smartphone, one with the UDC and the other without, at its December 9 event.

Realme is set to unveil its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered on the same day as the Moto Edge X30. Both phones will share more than just a launch date if a new report from Gizmochina is to be believed. A real-world image of the device obtained by the publication reveals an under-display selfie camera.

The report adds that Realme will launch two Realme GT 2 Pro editions, following Motorola's footsteps once again. Realme's offering will pack a 32MP sensor under the screen. The smartphone is expected to feature two 50MP sensors at the back, similar to what Motorola has in store for us. All in all, both phones will share a lot of hardware, such as a 120Hz panel and a 5,000mAh battery.

Realme UI is undoubtedly more feature-rich compared to Motorola's barebones take on Stock Android, so it has a slight competitive advantage on that front. The Realme GT 2 Pro also offers some seemingly overkill features, such as 125W fast charging. Nonetheless, it has been a long time since we've seen Motorola field a serious contender in the high-end smartphone segment, and we can't wait to see it shine.
