Razer has showcased a new version of the Zephyr mask called the Zephyr Pro. The Pro will cost US$50 more than the Zephyr, which cost US$99. The US$149.99 mask will feature built-in speakers and will come with 10 filters for up to 30 days of use. Razer will sell a 99-day bundle too for US$199.99, too.

Razer has unveiled the Zephyr Pro, an enhanced version of the Zephyr that it launched last year. Unsurprisingly, the 'Pro' mask is more expensive, with Razer setting its price at US$50 higher than the Zephyr's. For context, the Zephyr cost US$99.99, with the Zephyr Pro due to retail for US$149.99. However, Razer will charge US$199.99 for a bundle that includes more filters.

The biggest difference between the Zephyr and the Zephyr Pro is the latter's built-in speakers. When activated, the speakers will amplify your voice; muffled voices were reported to be a shortcoming of the Zephyr. According to Razer, the speakers can output your voice at up to 60 dB for people standing one metre away from you. You can also disable voice amplification with a button integrated within the mask's right intake vent.

As Razer's marketing images show, the intake vents still have Chroma RGB accents, too. Reportedly, the Zephyr Pro will weigh roughly 206.1 g, matching the original Zephyr. Razer is also targetting 5-6 hours of battery life, albeit only if you remember to disable voice amplification when you have finished talking to someone. Razer has not disclosed when it will start selling the Zephyr Pro though, beyond a vague commitment to sometime in 2022.

The standard Zephyr Pro will come with 10 filters that should be good enough for 30 days of regular usage. By contrast, the US$199.99 bundle will include 99 days' supply of filters. Razer has not confirmed how much replacement filters will cost for the Zephyr Pro, mind you. All filters will be N95-grade, for reference.
