The latest Razer x Pokémon collaboration is backed to unleash the most "Mischief" yet, as it is the first to be based on Gengar. The wired headset boasts the sneaky ghost-type's purple colorway, and even counts the signature spikes among the rest of its themed Easter eggs. It also packs 40mm Razer drivers for 7.1 surround sound and the brand's HyperClear cardoid mic.

Razer has finally brought its special Gengar Edition headset to more regions - by popular demand, following the accessory's wild success following its original release in China.

It is the first version of the Kraken Kitty V2 USB to be finished in purple, well chosen to match the Pokémon it embodies.

Each cup bears Gengar silhouettes in a lighter shade, also present as as ear-cushion accent and on the headband's interior.

There is also some red to match the "mischievous spirit's" eyes, found on the ear-cups' lining, which also bears an outline of Gengar's traditional "sneaky smirk".

All of that is topped by the custom spikes that replace the headset's standard Kitty ears.

The Gengar Edition has all of the same specs as a standard V2 USB otherwise, the Razer TriForce drivers, 20–20,000Hz sensitivity and type-A port included.

It has been released at $139.99 or €159.99 via Razer, as opposed to $94.99 for a 'normal' (black, white or Quartz) version of the Kraken Kitty V2 USB on Amazon today (August 19, 2025).
