Sony's decision to stop releasing physical PlayStation games starting in 2028 has sparked major backlash from the gaming community. Many fans have criticized the move, with some even canceling their PlayStation Plus memberships in protest. Despite the ongoing criticism, Sony has shown no signs of reversing its decision. If you prefer buying games digitally instead, Sony is also running the PlayStation Store Summer Sale. The promotion includes hundreds of games with discounts of up to 75% off across a wide range of genres. However, do keep in mind that the Summer Sale is live until August 12, so you have a few weeks to enjoy the discounts.
