Don't let the bright amiable color fool you. The pink MSI laptop will be faster than most 14-inch and 15.6-inch Ultrabooks in the market because of its 6-core Core i7-10710U Comet Lake-U CPU and GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics.

(February 10, 2020 update: MSI has just clarified that users can choose between FHD or 4K UHD for the pink color option. The CPU and GPU are fixed at the Core i7 and GTX 1650 Max-Q.)

Announced at CES 2020, MSI is now ready to ship its pink Prestige 14 laptop as promised. The new color is likely a direct response to the success of the pink Razer Blade 15 and pink Razer Blade Stealth especially since the Prestige 14 targets the same consumer base of content creators and occasional gamers.

For now, however, the pink Prestige 14 will come only in one specific SKU equipped with the hexa-core Core i7-10710U CPU, GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q GPU, 512 GB NVMe SSD, and 16 GB of soldered RAM. Lower-end SKUs with the Core i5 CPU or Intel UMA graphics will not get the pink color option meaning that buyers will have to opt for the highest-end configuration of the Prestige 14 if they want it in pink.

See our review on the 14-inch Prestige 14 for more details on MSI's premier laptop for office users and content creators. There are no plans to offer the larger 15.6-inch Prestige 15 in pink for now.

The pink Prestige 14 can be found on Amazon and Newegg.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
