Philips Hue rolls out new updates for smart home products
The Philips Hue app has been updated to version 5.24. The latest software, which can remotely control the brand’s lights and other smart home products, is already available for iOS and Android users.
Hue app 5.24 is a relatively minor release, with just one enhancement listed in the changelog. The company says it has worked to fix a bug with Bluetooth connectivity, which some users had reported. Unfortunately, further details are not provided, and it does not appear that any new features have been added to the app. It follows version 5.23, a more significant update that brought users three new features in early August.
Another recent release from Philips Hue was software version 196606010 for the Hue Bridge. For this product, there is said to be a resolution for issues with the Go to Sleep automation and general improvements. Plus, the system’s overall performance and reliability have been optimized. On top of this, the company is rolling out a major update for its Secure camera products. You can now download the Philips Hue app version 5.24 from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The Hue Bridge update may be automatically pushed to the device, or you can check for it in the app.
