Govee launches new brighter Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 with discount
Govee has launched the Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 worldwide. The product sits between the original Permanent Outdoor Lights and the more advanced Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro. Customers can choose between three lengths: 50ft (15m), 100ft (30m) and 100ft (45m).
As seen on its predecessor, the mid-range 100ft (30m) version offers 72 lights. However, an upgraded LED design has increased the brightness level from 25 to 40 lumens, far closer to the 50 lumens seen for the Pro lights. Another improvement for the Outdoor Lights 2 is RGBICW lighting, with adjustable color temperatures up to 4000K. There are 25 more scene modes to select from, taking the total up to 100, with DIY lighting and AI-generated effects available via the Govee app. Plus, the smart lights are Matter compatible, allowing integration with many smart home ecosystems like Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
You can now buy the 50ft (15m), 100ft (30m) and 100ft (45m) versions of the Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 for $179.99/£179.99/€179.99, $299.99/£299.99/€299.99 and $449.99/£449.99/€449.99, respectively. For context, the Permanent Outdoor Lights 150ft (45m) also retail for $449.99/£449.99/€449.99, while the Permanent Outdoor Lights Pro 150ft (45m) cost $549.99/£549.99/€549.99. You can also purchase a 16.4ft Extension Lights kit for the Permanent Outdoor Lights 2 for $49.99/£59.99/€59.99. Customers in the UK and the EU can currently get a 33% discount when they use code POL33; it is unclear how long this deal will last.
