Poco, a Xiaomi sub-brand, has confirmed another product launch this November. Alongside the Poco F8 phone lineup, the company is set to introduce at least one new tablet to expand its product portfolio. The firm officially announced that the Poco Pad X1 tablet will debut on November 26 at 16:00 GMT+8, aligning with the confirmed F8 series launch date.
The Poco Pad X1 isn't the only tablet the company has been working on lately. A more affordable Poco Pad M1 has also been spotted in recent Geekbench listings and leaks. Although there's no official confirmation yet for the M1 model, its potential launch alongside the X1 wouldn't be surprising.
Xiaomi confirms the launch of the Poco Pad X1 on November 26
Poco is already teasing key specifications for the Pad X1 via early teasers. The first promo poster for the tablet confirmed a high-resolution (3.2K) display with a 144Hz refresh rate, Adaptive HDR support, and the capacity to reproduce up to 68 billion colors.
Previous leaks suggest the tablet will be equipped with a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, capable hardware for the mid-range category. For reference, the performance of this chip falls between the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The POCO Pad X1 also integrates an Adreno 732 GPU for graphical processing and at least 8GB of RAM.
Poco Pad M1, the pending affordable model
According to leaks and benchmarks, the Poco Pad M1 will be positioned as the most accessible model in the lineup. It will focus on extended media consumption, reportedly featuring a large 12,000mAh battery and a 12.1-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Leaks indicate that the M1 may utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. This spec set reinforces claims that the Poco Pad M1 will be nothing more than a rebranded Redmi Pad 2 Pro.
According to tech tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Poco Pad M1 will start at €349 in European markets (8GB RAM + 256GB storage). Sadly, there are still no specific pricing details for the Poco Pad X1 yet.
