Oppo Watch 4: new rumors suggest smartwatch will have OLED display
Further details about the upcoming Oppo Watch 4 appear to have been leaked. The watch, which has also been historically referred to as the Oppo Watch 4 Round, follows the launch of the Watch 4 Pro last August. A supposed leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo claims that the new wearable will have dual chipsets, Snapdragon W5 and BES 2700, like its predecessor.
According to the same report, the Oppo Watch 4 will have a round face and an OLED display; earlier rumors suggest its resolution will be 466 x 466 px. For comparison, the Pro model has a 1.91-inch LTPO screen with a 378 × 496 px resolution. An older leak by @realMlgmXyysd on X (formerly Twitter) indicated features of the new smartwatch would include ECG, heart rate and blood oxygen level tracking, as seen on the older version. Other alleged tools include fist clench gestures, WeChat Pay and an eSIM option.
A new post from @realMlgmXyysd suggests the Watch 4 will be available in three colors: blue, black and white (silver). The X user has also shared images, though their origin needs to be clarified. Precisely when the Oppo Watch 4 will launch or how much it will cost remains to be seen. As an indication, the Oppo Watch 4 Pro starts from 2,299 yuan (~$323) in China and has yet to arrive in other markets like North America or Europe.
