Oppo is expected to augment its Find X8 series of flagship smartphones soon. The latest leaks suggest that 2 of the new devices will have the impending MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC rather than the 9400 - and that 1 will be smaller than the other.
The "Find X8s" is thought to have a flat display of about the same size as that of the iPhone 16 Pro, but to have more screen real estate thanks to what will be "the world's thinner bezels" (~1.3 millimeters (mm), allegedly, compared to 1.43mm in the 16 Pro) on their release.
The X8s is also most likely to have a single punch-hole rather than a Dynamic Island cut-out.
Those claims do seem to be borne out in a new photo purporting to show the former next to the latter. The "X8s" also has a flat-edged frame of a metallic appearance, albeit in a different color and possibly of a more matte texture compared to its iPhone rival.
It will be no more than 7.79mm in width, according to the famous leaker Digital Chat Station. The Find X8s might also have a mass of no more than 179 grams (g), meaning that it could be thinner as well as lighter than the 16 Pro on its launch.
Should that be the case, the "OnePlus 13T" might be in line for the same front panel on its own impending debut.
