Oppo Find N7: Leak points to two camera design options, new Snapdragon chipset and launch timeline

The Oppo Find N6 was launched as a flagship foldable smartphone in March 2026. A new leak courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some early details about Oppo's next foldable phone, expected to be called the Find N7.
According to the leak, Oppo is currently testing two design options for the new foldable phone. One is said to use a large circular rear camera housing, similar to the Find N6 (curr. $1,536.78 on TradingShenzhen), while the other is said to use a pill-shaped camera housing.
The Find N7 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 (SM8950) chipset. For context, Qualcomm is expected to release two new chipsets later this year: the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. Both are expected to be based on a 2nm process node. The standard version may feature an Adreno 845 GPU and support LPDDR5X RAM. Meanwhile, the Pro version is expected to use a faster Adreno 850 GPU and LPDDR6 RAM.
The tipster also suggests that the next-generation Oppo foldable phone may feature a battery in the 6,000mAh range, with early-stage plans reportedly targeting around 6,500mAh. Lastly, the Oppo Find N7 is tipped to launch in Q1 2027.
