Oppo Find N6: Almost wrinkle-free, powerfully equipped and with a large battery

With the Find N6, Oppo consistently evolves its foldable, eliminating one of the biggest weaknesses of earlier generations: the crease is virtually invisible and imperceptible to the touch. The redesigned hinge also ensures a premium feel and good stability, although it can creak slightly under torsional stress. The chassis remains thin but becomes somewhat more compact and practical for everyday use. IP59 certification provides protection against water, though not fully against dust.
Technically, the device impresses with modern specifications such as USB 3.2 (including video output), Wi-Fi 7, and 5G. Extras like an infrared blaster and the programmable "Snap Key" expand functionality, though UWB is missing. Android 16 with ColorOS 16 runs smoothly, and Oppo promises five years of updates.
The 8.12-inch LTPO display (1 - 120 Hz) scores points for high color accuracy and a high PWM frequency (2,160 Hz), though its brightness fell short of the manufacturer's claims during testing. The cover display also delivers solid figures but likewise fails to reach the advertised peak brightness. Nevertheless, both panels are fully usable in everyday scenarios.
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Find N6 offers high performance but throttles significantly under sustained load. The camera impresses with a strong main lens and good zoom capabilities, while the ultra-wide-angle lens shows a noticeable drop in quality. Battery life is excellent - lasting around 18 hours in the Wi-Fi test - and supports charging speeds of up to 80 watts wired and 50 watts wireless.
All in all, with the Find N6, Oppo delivers one of the most refined foldables currently available, featuring a great display, excellent battery life, and a barely visible crease; however, it faces criticism regarding cooling and its secondary camera lenses.
