Oppo officially confirms global launch of new Reno series

The Oppo Reno 15 series was released globally in January 2026 as a mid-range lineup of smartphones. Now the company has confirmed the Reno 16 series for the global market.
For context, the Reno 16 and the Reno 16 Pro have already been launched in China. However, leaks suggest that the global models could have some hardware differences.
The global Reno 16 series is confirmed to include the standard Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16F. Oppo has revealed that the lineup will feature a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera. The series will also include an “AI Remix Collage” feature and run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Reno 16 lineup is now available for pre-order in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. The series is scheduled to launch in Indonesia on July 3 and in Malaysia on July 8. The exact release date for other countries is yet to be confirmed.
Alongside the new phone series, Oppo has also confirmed the Oppo Bubble phone accessory and two wireless earbuds: the Enco Air5 and Enco Air5s. In other news, OnePlus has confirmed a large 8,000mAh battery for its upcoming affordable smartphone, the OnePlus N6.
