OnePlus 15s: Global launch plans appear uncertain in new leak

The OnePlus 13T was launched in China in April 2025 as a compact flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device was later launched outside China as the OnePlus 13s.
The OnePlus 13T has already been succeeded by the OnePlus 15T in China. The new compact phone launched in China in March 2026, priced at CNY 4,899 (~$723). However, there is still no official word on its global counterpart, the OnePlus 15s.
For context, the 15T features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Similar to the standard OnePlus 15 (curr. $849 on Amazon), the 15T uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It comes with a 50MP dual rear camera setup and a 7,500mAh battery.
Tipster Yogesh Brar on X has now claimed that the OnePlus 15s may not launch. The tipster also suggested that the next-generation OnePlus 16 has not yet been finalized for India.
For context, there have been multiple reports suggesting that OnePlus is scaling back operations across several markets. However, the company is still releasing new products in India, including the upcoming affordable OnePlus N6 with an 8,000mAh battery. It remains unclear whether OnePlus' next flagship models will launch internationally or remain exclusive to China.
