OnePlus has just launched the 9 series of flagship phones. Despite this, it has felt the need to push a software update to the 2 devices already with tweaks for their Hasselblad-branded cameras.
The 9 and 9 Pro are OnePlus’ first flagship phones resulting from its new partnership with Hasselblad. They have not been on the market long, yet have a new software update already. It is rated to improve the stability of their cameras, as well as some of their more important aspects.
They include white balance, zoom and sharpness. Besides this, the update also fixes other zero-day issues, such as the haptics in games such as PUBG or Call of Duty Mobile.
It may also fix some initial bugs affecting the phones' ultra-fast Warp Charging system, including one in which the devices would not store stats on its last 0-100% session, or display the "low battery" icon in the status bar.
Finally, the new OTA might improve overall UI stability. This update - OxygenOS 11.2.2.2 for the 9 and 9 Pro’s Indian, EU and North American units – is rolling out gradually to the phones in question

I became a professional writer and editor shortly after graduation. My degrees are in biomedical sciences; however, they led to some experience in the biotech area, which convinced me of its potential to revolutionize our health, environment and lives in general. This developed into an all-consuming interest in more aspects of tech over time: I can never write enough on the latest electronics, gadgets and innovations. My other interests include imaging, astronomy, and streaming all the things. Oh, and coffee.
