OnePlus is bringing its handy dual Bluetooth audio sharing feature to two more smartphones. The latest OxygenOS update lets OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 12 owners stream audio to two pairs of wireless earbuds at once, while also packing a handful of smaller quality-of-life improvements and the June 2026 Android security patch.

OnePlus recently surprised owners of the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus 13S with a new update that adds Bluetooth dual-audio streaming support. Now, the company is expanding the ability to play audio to two pairs of earbuds simultaneously to more devices.

The OnePlus 13R and OnePlus 12 are the latest phones to receive the new Bluetooth audio sharing capability, allowing users to stream music to two sets of earphones at the same time. That means you can finally enjoy music or movies with someone without awkwardly sharing a single pair of earbuds. The new feature arrives with the latest OxygenOS 16.0.8.300 update, which is currently rolling out in India in a phased manner and should make its way to Europe and North America in the coming days. Navigate to Settings > System & Updates > Software Update to see if the update is available to download. As is always the case with staged rollouts, it might take anywhere from a couple of days to a week for the OTA to reach your device.

The feature allows users to stream the same audio to two pairs of wireless earbuds simultaneously, with independent volume controls for each connected device.

While it was all but expected that the feature would make its way to the OnePlus 13R, it’s good to see the 2023 OnePlus 12 making the cut as well. Hopefully, the OnePlus 12R is the next in line, though we won’t hold our breath for older models like the OnePlus 11 and Nord lineup to join in.

Our previous coverage explains the new dual Bluetooth audio feature in more detail and has screenshots showcasing the feature in action, so be sure to check that out. The gist is that the dual Bluetooth audio, as the name implies, allows your OnePlus phone to simultaneously stream the same audio feed to two separate pairs of Bluetooth earphones (OnePlus Buds 4 curr. 38% off on Amazon), and each device gets its own independent volume controls.

Apart from dual Bluetooth audio, OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 13R owners can look forward to several other quality-of-life improvements in the latest OxygenOS update. The Weather app now displays moonrise, moonset, and lunar phase information on its home screen, while Outdoor Mode lets you pin frequently used apps to the bottom status bar for quicker access. Additionally, the Game Capture tool, which is part of Game Assistant, now lets you capture 2K resolution screenshots. Finally, the update includes the latest June 2026 Android security patch.
