After launching the OnePlus 12 globally weeks ago, OnePlus has now set its sights on its next release, the OnePlus Nord 5. The company released the Nord 3 last year but can be expected to skip the "4" branding, like it did with the standard OnePlus flagship line back in 2017.
As revealed by leaker Digital Chat Station, it appears the OnePlus Nord 5 will sport a 6.74-inch 1.5K 120 Hz OLED screen. Sadly, that display is said to not be an 8T LTPO screen like on the OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R. Under the hood of the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be the upcoming Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, a chipset also tipped to power the Poco F6.
Keeping with its mid-range heritage, the OnePlus Nord 5 is tipped to feature a plastic middle frame, albeit with a glass back. a 5500 mAh battery is also touted, along with up to 16 GB of RAM. It's unknown when exactly OnePlus will launch the Nord 5. The first-gen Nord, Nord 2, and last year's Nord 3 were all unveiled in July, though, so the Nord 5 can be expected to debut at a similar date.
