OnePlus 9RT specs and pricing revealed comprehensively in new leak
information last week claimed OnePlus would be refreshing its sub-premium release from earlier this year, the OnePlus 9R. This upcoming device, the OnePlus 9RT will keep most of the features of the 9R, while improving in certain important aspects. Details and pricing of the OnePlus 9RT have now leaked ahead of its expected October release.
According to information coming out of China, the OnePlus 9RT will sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED. Interestingly, this display will be a Samsung E3 panel, a generation behind the E4 panels on current premium phones, and two generations behind the E5 that debuted on the iQOO 8 Pro. Gorilla Glass 5 provides protection.
Under the hood will be a Snapdragon 870, the same chipset on the OnePlus 9R. It will be aided by LPDDR4X RAM—disappointing in an era of LPDDR5 RAM—and UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera-wise, the OnePlus 9RT will ditch its 48 MP IMX586 in favor of the 50 MP IMX766. The IMX766 finds use as the OnePlus 9 Pro's ultra-wide snapper these days. The ultra-wide camera here will be a 16 MP IMX481 and the rear camera system will be completed by a 2 MP monochrome camera. At the front will be the 16 MP IMX471.
Other specifications include a 4500 mAh battery, 65 W charging, stereo speakers, a linear haptic motor, and NFC. The OnePlus 9RT will be available in three configurations costing CNY 2,999 (US$465), CNY 3,299 (US$510), and CNY 3,599 (US$555).
