OnePlus has confirmed that it will be launching the OnePlus 9RT next week, its follow-up to the OnePlus 9R. However, the company has already many of the device's specifications on Weibo. Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 9RT contains several upgrades over the OnePlus 9R.
For one, the OnePlus 9RT has a Snapdragon 888 SoC, an improvement over the Snapdragon 870 in the OnePlus 9R. OnePlus has also equipped the device with the following hardware:
- 120 Hz AMOLED display (Samsung E4)
- Dual batteries (4,500 mAh combined)
- 65 W fast charging
- In-display fingerprint scanner
- LPDDR5 RAM
- UFS 3.1 storage
Meanwhile, Evan Blass adds that the OnePlus 9RT has a Sony IMX766 as its primary camera, complemented by a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle camera (Sony IMX481) and a 2 MP macro camera (Omnivision OV02B10). Additionally, the device relies on a Sony IMX471 for its front-facing camera, which is a 16 MP sensor.
The OnePlus 9RT will be available in China and India with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Both countries will receive Hacker Black and Nano Silver colourways, although OnePlus will also sell a Teal edition in China. Prices remain unknown at this stage, but all models will launch with Android 11.
