The OnePlus 9RT arrives in China and India later this week with a Snapdragon 888 SoC and up to 12 GB of RAM. OnePlus has confirmed that the device will support 600 Hz touch sampling and up to 7 GB of virtual RAM, too.

OnePlus continues to tease the OnePlus 9RT on Weibo. So far, the company has confirmed the device's release, along with several specifications that we have outlined separately. In short, the OnePlus 9RT will launch with a Snapdragon 888, a 120 Hz display and up to 12 GB of RAM.

Now, the company reports that the device will support up to 7 GB of virtual RAM, too. However, the OnePlus 9RT will draw this 'virtual RAM' from its storage, of which there will be 128 GB or 256 GB available. Virtual RAM is never as fast as physical RAM though, as we have discussed before.

Additionally, the OnePlus 9RT will support 600 Hz touch sampling combined with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device's Samsung E4 display utilises LTPO backplane technology as well, allowing it to drop its refresh rate as low as 1 Hz. The OnePlus 9RT will debut on October 13 in China. OnePlus will launch the device in India also, although it is unclear when.
