Reports last week revealed that the OnePlus 13T would feature an iPhone 16-inspired design, and launch sometime in Q2. A new leak has now surfaced about the compact phone, revealing further information ahead of its launch.
As shared on Weibo, the OnePlus 13T is expected to be unveiled "around May". The premium is also tipped to launch as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone in that size range, effectively confirming it will undercut the pricing of other current-gen 6.3-inch flagship models like the Xiaomi 15 and, in particular, OPPO's upcoming Find X8 Next.
While the pricing of the OnePlus 13T will be extremely competitive, the phone will arrive with some obvious cut corners. Most glaring is, of course, the dual-cam setup at its back. It remains unknown if the secondary snapper will be a telephoto or ultra-wide-angle camera. The leaker also confirms the 13T will retain the optical fingerprint reader from previous OnePlus flagships rather than adopting an ultrasonic sensor like the OnePlus 13.
On the flip side, the OnePlus 13T is said to come equipped with the largest battery of any smartphone in its class. A 6000 mAh battery is mooted, which would be impressive considering the much larger OnePlus 13 also houses a 6000 mAh battery.
