After making its debut alongside the Galaxy S20 series, One UI 2.1 has since made its way to a host of Samsung phones including the Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, and the Galaxy A51. Galaxy Note 9 owners received it last week, and now, it is the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus' turn to get a taste of the software.
The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus are now receiving the One UI 2.1 update. It brings forth all the essential features such as Single Take Mode, Pro Video Mode, Quick Share, My Filters, AR Zone, and Music Share. The software also upgrades both devices' security to June 2020 levels.
The One UI 2.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus is rolling out in Germany and will be available in more regions in the coming weeks. If you can't wait for the update to arrive over-the-air, you can sideload it onto your device using ODIN or Samsung Smart Switch.
