OPPO has announced that its new Reno2 line of smartphones will launch in the UK on October 16, 2019. This event, dubbed "Reno Studio Earth" by the OEM, will introduce up to 3 new devices to this region. It will reportedly take place at the English National Ballet in London.
The OPPO Reno2 line defines itself through quad cameras. Some of these phones reprise the 'shark-fin' pop-up camera module of their preceding generation. However, the OPPO Reno2 F, which has also just been released to the Indian market, has a more conventional square moving part like that of the Vivo Nex 3.
Other phones that may be unveiled at OPPO's "Studio Earth" include the Reno2 and Reno2 Z. The former runs on the Snapdragon 730G processor, whereas the latter has a MediaTek P90 SoC. A further Reno2 variant with more premium silicon is also rumored to be in the works, but it seems it will not make its manufacturer's latest launch event. (Oppo Reno on sale now at Amazon)
