ONEXPLAYER ONEXFLY to launch next week from US$739 as new ASUS ROG Ally rival
One-netbook has finally revealed the release of the ONEXFLY, which it has confirmed, along with full pricing and configuration details. Incidentally, the announcement of new ONEXFLY information comes a day after One-netbook started selling the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro globally, its other AMD Ryzen 7 7840U-powered gaming handheld. In short, the ONEXFLY is a smaller alternative to the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro, which is one of the largest gaming handhelds around, thanks to its 8.4-inch display.
In comparison, the ONEXFLY has a 7-inch IPS display that One-netbook claims outputs at 1080p, 120 Hz and 450 nits. Still, the gaming handheld is said to weigh 580 g, undercutting the ASUS ROG Ally and Steam Deck by 28 g and 89 g, respectively. Seemingly, One-netbook appears to have secured enough Mega Bundle purchases to justify offering the ONEXFLY at its lower set of crowdfunding prices.
Thus, the ONEXFLY will start at US$739 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. However, there will also be four other SKUs, all with 32 GB or 64 GB of RAM and at least 1 TB of storage. One-netbook will begin selling the ONEXFLY on August 10 at 15:00 via Indiegogo, where the device is already listed. Initially, One-netbook will price the ONEXFLY as follows, all with the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU:
- 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage - US$739
- 32 GB RAM/1 TB storage - US$889
- 32 GB RAM/2 TB storage - US$969
- 64 GB RAM/2 TB storage - US$1,199
- 64 GB RAM/4 TB storage - US$1,299
