ONEXPLAYER ONEXFLY F1 EVA Edition introduced as new limited edition gaming handheld
One-Netbook has introduced yet another ONEXPLAYER spin-off a few months after releasing the ONEXFLY and ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro globally. Inexplicably, the company has decided to refresh the ONEXFLY despite only bringing the gaming handheld to Indiegogo in August. In fact, One-Netbook has not finished shipping early ONEXFLY units yet.
Nonetheless, it has returned to the Neon Genesis Evangelion livery in which it introduced the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro earlier this year. Thus, the ONEXFLY F1 EVA Edition is the third anime tie-in that One-Netbook has offered so far after the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro EVA and ONEXPLAYER Mini Pro Gundam special edition. As far as we can tell, the new ONEXFLY maintains all the same core hardware as the regular ONEXFLY, including the following:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU
- 48 Wh battery
- PCIe 4.0 storage
- LPDDR5X RAM
- 7-inch IPS display, 1080p, 120 Hz
However, One-Netbook has added a 64 GB of RAM option that the regular ONEXFLY lacks. Currently, the ONEXFLY F1 EVA Edition starts at US$1,099.99 with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB but rises to US$1,599.99 with 64 GB of RAM and a 2 TB SSD. Alternatively, Minixpc sells 32 GB of RAM SKUs with 1 TB and 2 TB of storage for US$1,199 and US$1,299, respectively. Please see Minixpc's website for more details.
