Nothing has finally confirmed a launch date for its line-leading smartphone for the year, the Nothing Phone (3). The Nothing Phone (3) is expected to launch as the company's most premium smartphone yet, and has now been confirmed to be making its debut in a matter of weeks.
As shared by Nothing on its official X page a short while ago, the Nothing Phone (3) will launch on July 1. While the company provides no further information on the device, previous leaks indicate the Nothing Phone (3) will be available in two colorways: Black and White. Pricing is also tipped to start at $799 for the 12/256 GB SKU, with the 16/512 GB model costing $899.
That would effectively mean the Nothing Phone (3) undercuts the OnePlus 13 by $50 across both SKUs. Public opinion on the phone's pricing will depend on what sort of hardware the Nothing Phone (3) features, particularly on the SoC side, with phones pricing in that bracket typically sporting Qualcomm's flagship chipset.
Unfortunately, concrete information on Nothing's SoC of choice for the Phone (3) has proven elusive. While a recent tweet by leaker Yogesh Brar seems to indicate the phone could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, another source claims the Nothing Phone (3) will not be powered by that chipset, effectively leaving the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and Snapdragon 8 Elite as the likeliest options.
