November has been littered with rumours that Samsung will open its One UI 7 Beta program for recent flagship and mid-range devices. To recap, various sources provided evidence that Samsung had pushed One UI 7 beta builds to its test servers for Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series devices like the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $949.99 on Amazon).
However, no such builds have debuted publicly yet, or at least not to anyone's knowledge. With November all but wrapped up, it seems increasingly unlikely that anyone outside of Samsung will be trying out One UI 7 Beta before the end of the month.
According to a new rumour, Samsung could actually be a while off from delivering a first public look at its Android 15-based update. Supposedly, the company now intends to kick off its One UI 7 Beta program 'by mid-December', which could be anytime between the second and third weeks of next month.
Unfortunately, this timeline is only true for Samsung's 'Phase 1' countries. As GSMArena notes, this includes just Germany, South Korea and the US. Thus, Samsung fans in other countries like China, India, and the UK will likely face an even longer wait. Reportedly, Samsung will not begin distributing stable One UI 7 builds until February 2025, which would be a mere few months shy of Google introducing Android 16.
