Almost five years have passed since Beats released the Powerbeats Pro (curr. $159.99 on Amazon). However, it seems that the company will soon unveil successors, having teased the Powerbeats Pro 2 by way of a short video last September. For reference, while Beats claimed that the earbuds would debut this year, it has not yet provided a specific release date.
Nonetheless, Dealabs and leaker @billbil_kun have now published details about colours and pricing, which indicates that an official launch is on the horizon. Reportedly, Apple intends to sell all variants for €299.95, which is now the MSRP for the PowerBeats Pro. With that being said, the latter originally launched for €50 less in 2019.
Dealabs and @billbil_kun also report that the PowerBeats Pro 2 will be sold in Electic Orange, Jet Black, Quick Sand and Hyper Purple colourways. Exactly when remains to be seen at this time, although Bloomberg indicates that the earbuds could debut later this month. The new earbuds are expected to add features like active noise control (ANC) and spatial audio support to bring them into line with other recent Apple earbuds.
