New Xiaomi smartphone tipped to launch with built-in cooling fan and massive 8,500 mAh battery

Various sources have shared new details about the long-rumoured Redmi K90 Ultra. Also known as the Redmi K90 Extreme Edition, the smartphone will be the third member in the series after the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max's simultaneous release last October. By the sounds of things, the Redmi K90 Ultra is set to depart from its predecessor in several areas.
For one, Digital Chat Station alleges that battery capacity is set to grow by at least 15% between generations. Apparently, this circa 8,500 mAh battery will support 100 W wired charging too, as well as a high refresh rate display and a 'specially tuned performance chip'.
Moreover, Digital Chat Station indicates that Xiaomi is developing the Redmi K90 Ultra with a 'sub-series Dimensity 9500 performance model'. From this, we can infer that the leaker means the unreleased Dimensity 9500+ rather than the lesser Dimensity 9500s that graces the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. Evidence suggests that the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a built-in fan too, unlike its predecessors.
Currently, it is unknown when the Redmi K90 Ultra will officially debut. However, the device will likely be exclusive to China, regardless of when it launches. Previous generations indicate that the Redmi K90 Ultra will be available globally as a replacement for last year's Xiaomi 15T Pro (curr. $829.50 on Amazon).
