NieuweMobiel has leaked official images of the Galaxy S23 Plus, confirming design changes from the Galaxy S22 Plus. Revealed a few hours after leaking equivalent images of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, the images also highlight that the Galaxy S23 series will share the same four launch colours. According to Roland Quandt and NieuweMobiel, Samsung will present these colours as:
- Botanic Green
- Cotton Flower
- Misty Lilac
- Phantom Black
Typically, Samsung offers exclusive online colours too that are available on its website. In short, the four shown below are likely those that Samsung and third-party retailers will stock. As expected, the Galaxy S23 Plus has the same overall design as the Galaxy S23, with Samsung ditching the larger camera housing in favour of individual camera lenses. While the change homogenises the Galaxy S23 series, it also makes the Galaxy S23 Plus look like a Galaxy A series handset from the back, such as the Galaxy A14 or the upcoming Galaxy A34.
The Galaxy S23 Plus will debut on February 1 during Samsung's next Galaxy Unpacked event. Currently, Samsung is expected to also reveal the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra, as well as the Galaxy Book3. Although NieuweMobiel has not revealed specifications, the Galaxy S23 Plus is rumoured to rely on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 globally with no replacement for the Exynos 2200.
