New Neomouv Allegria 2 e-bike with integrated battery now available at Decathlon
The Neomouv Allegria 2 e-bike with integrated battery has landed at Decathlon in France. The French brand has designed this model for riding around the city, and it has many similarities to the older Allegria 2. However, the latest version has the battery stored in the bike’s downtube rather than mounted to the rear rack.
The new Allegria 2 is powered by a 250W 80Nm Neoassist 2 mid-mounted motor, assisting you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph), with a pedal sensor to automatically adjust the power as necessary. This is accompanied by a 522Wh battery, allowing you to ride with assistance for up to 100 km (~60 miles) between charges. A color LCD on the left handlebar shows information such as your assistance level and remaining battery percentage. Other features include a Shimano Altus 7-speed derailleur, hydraulic disc brakes, a luggage rack, lighting and mudguards. Plus, you can choose between 26” or 28” wheels fitted with 2-inch Hutchinson Republic tires.
The model has a step-through frame with a ZOOM aluminum suspension fork with 45mm travel. It can support a load of up to 150 kg (~330 lbs) and weighs around 29 kg (~64 lbs), including the battery. The Neomouv Allegria 2 electric city bike with integrated battery is listed at Decathlon France for €2,199. However, both the 26” and 28” models appear to be out of stock online; it is unclear when customers will be able to purchase the e-bike.
