New GoPro Mission 1 Pro ILS cinema camera released globally with interchangeable lenses

GoPro has finally started selling the ILS version of its latest Mission 1 Pro action camera. Launched in April, the Mission 1 Pro ILS sits atop the Mission 1 range ahead of the Mission 1 and Mission 1 Pro (curr. $599 on Amazon). Incidentally, the latter two have been available to order since launch day.
By contrast, GoPro only committed to a Q3 2026 release window for the Mission 1 Pro ILS. Without warning, the company has now started selling its most expensive action camera for $699, €699 and £599 in the US, Eurozone and the UK, respectively. For reference, these prices include the following accessories:
- 1x Dust cap
- 1x Enduro 2 battery
- 4x Stickers
- 1x USB Type-C to Type-C cable
One can add a 1-year GoPro Premium subscription for free, which includes guaranteed camera replacements, auto-uploads and additional editing tools, among other features. Moreover, GoPro's website reports that the Mission 1 Pro ILS will begin shipping on September 2 across all the markets in which the camera is now available to purchase.
As the videos below show, the Mission 1 Pro ILS adds Micro Four Thirds (MFT) lens support. However, the action camera contains the same 1-inch style image sensor as the Mission 1 Pro and an identical GoPro GP3 chipset. Please see GoPro's website for more details.
