Casio has unveiled a new limited-edition G-Shock model in collaboration with renowned artist and entertainer Kinashi Noritake. This special DW-5600-based watch, named the "Reach Out" model, will be exclusively available at the upcoming traveling exhibition "Kinashi Noritake Exhibition - Touch / Serenpidity," set to open first in Osaka from July 19 to August 31, 2025.
The watch features a playful black-and-white design inspired by Noritake’s iconic "Reach Out" artwork. The black resin strap is adorned with abstract white hand motifs that stand out starkly against the monochrome base. Subtle touches include a "Reach Out" inscription above the face, Noritake’s signature near the bottom of the strap, and a special logo that lights up on the backlight display. The watch case back also features Noritake’s engraved signature.
Please note that this is not a general retail release. According to current details, it will only be purchasable at the exhibition venue itself, making it one of the rarer Casio collaborations of the year. It’s a classic square G-Shock in form, but reimagined with contemporary art and a distinctly Japanese pop-culture edge.
Fans of Kinashi’s work and collectors of limited G-Shock pieces will want to act fast. With its limited availability, standout design, and signed exclusivity, this collab piece is likely to become a sought-after item long after the exhibition closes.
