Navimow: Major update introduces new functions and improvements to the Navimow i-series

The Navimow i105E and i108E from Segway were some of the best robotic lawn mowers without a boundary wire for smaller gardens available on the market last year. The company recently released an extensive update for its app (for iOS and Android), introducing a whole host of new features and improvements.

First off, the new version of the Navimow app (version 3.0) will also be available for the X3 series. The new model series from Navimow for larger gardens is launching very soon and is already listed at several specialist dealers. Owners of the Navimow i and H series will also benefit from the new app update.

In addition to improvements for the start page and notifications, the update also adds some new functions. For example, "Managing multiple devices" and "Rename" are now supported, as is voice control via the Google Assistant. 

The Navimow App 3.0 also includes a whole range of new features specifically for the i-series. Among other things, the robot's behavior can now be adjusted to different weather scenarios in greater detail. The new "traction control system" feature, which can be activated in the settings if required, is designed to provide better grip in difficult terrain.

There is also a new edge mowing function that is designed to improve edge mowing in particular. In addition to more extensive anti-theft protection and child safety locks, the Navimow i105E and i108E can now also draw certain patterns on the lawn, similar to what is known from Mammotion, for example.
