Motorola confirms the Razr 70 Swarovski Edition for IFA 2026

Motorola is teaming up with Swarovski again, and the results will be shown at IFA in Berlin in early September. The Lenovo-owned company confirmed the collaboration with a teaser posted on their official X page, captioned with a reference to sparkling brilliance and the IFA hashtag.
The teaser shows the back of a Razr-style device with a black cover carrying a diamond-patterned texture and a scattering of crystals, which points to the Razr 70. It follows last year’s Swarovski Edition of the Razr 60.
Renders published by The Mac Observer at the start of August showed a quilted black rear panel dotted with dozens of crystals and a larger centerpiece gem set into the hinge, with additional crystals below the external screen. The official teaser lines up with those images closely. Where the Razr 60 Swarovski Edition leaned flashy, the black finish here keeps things more restrained while still delivering the sparkle the collaboration is built on.
Aside from the added sparkle, the Razr 70 Swarovski Edition is expected to retain the standard Razr 70's hardware and design, including a 6.9-inch internal OLED display, a 4,500 mAh battery, two 50MP rear cameras and a 32MP selfie camera, along with a 3.6-inch cover screen that wraps around the dual rear cameras.
The leaked images also pointed to the retail bundle, suggesting a clear protective case that shows off the crystal finish, a USB-C cable, and a 33W charger, which sits marginally above the 30W wired figure quoted for the standard model.
Motorola has not shared a price or an exact release date. The most useful reference point is last year’s crystal-covered Razr, which launched roughly $200 above the $799 standard model, putting a comparable premium somewhere near the $1,000 mark. Full details, including availability, are expected at IFA 2026, where the phone slots into Motorola’s Brilliant Collection and its habit of treating foldables as fashion objects as much as phones.
