Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is set to release its first flagship since its inception at the start of the year. The device has been confirmed to be called the Redmi K20, with "K" representing "Killer Performance". Apparently, there will be two devices: the K20 and K20 Pro, and details of the regular K20 have surfaced.
According to the reports, the K20 will feature a 6.39-inch FHD+ display. The K20 Pro will almost definitely opt for an AMOLED one, but the K20's display type is still up in the air. A new leak claims it features an in-display fingerprint reader, though, which isn't possible with an LCD display.
While the K20 Pro will definitely be powered by a Snapdragon 855, the K20 is said to feature the new Snapdragon 730. It's a worse chipset than the SD855, no doubt, but it's still Qualcomm's most powerful mid-range SoC at the moment.
Other notable specifications include a 4000 mAh battery, 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a triple camera setup with a 48 MP Sony IMX586 main shooter. It will supposedly be sold as the Xiaomi Mi 9T in certain regions.
