Computex 2019 | MSI's WS65 workstation claims the title of world's first laptop to feature the new mobile Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 graphics card
The upgraded WS65 workstation laptop from MSI sports some very impressive hardware. Not content with just including Nvidia’s top-end Quadro RTX 5000 graphics solution, the laptop can also boast of being powered by one of Intel’s 9th Gen Coffee Lake-H Refresh CPUs, in the form of the 6-core i7-9750H.
The MSI WS65 (9TM-856) mobile workstation also comes with 32 GB memory, a 512 GB NVMe SSD, and a 15.6-inch 4K/UHD IPS display. The WS65 is part of MSI’s thin and light WS Series: The workstation is 15.08 in x 10.24 in x 0.69 in and weighs 4.19 lbs. The laptop features slim bezels, and it has been tested to the MIL-STD 810G standard.
The updated WS65 laptop has numerous attractive features, including a glass touchpad, Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, a panel that covers 100% of the AdobeRGB color space, a fingerprint reader, and a 4-cell 82 Wh battery that can last for over nine hours according to MSI’s tests. Along with all that, the refreshed MSI WS65 workstation doesn’t look half bad with its stylish matte black and gold diamond cut appearance. It can be pre-ordered from Newegg and will cost US$3,499.
