The MSI GT60 2PE-495RU comes with all the specifications you need in a gaming machine. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M graphics card allows users to play new and modern games with ultra-high settings smoothly without any issues. It is at the moment the best NVIDIA graphics card one can get hold of.
The MSI GT60 2PE-495RU also comes equipped with an Intel Core i7 quad core processor with a turbo clock of up to 3.2 GHz. The processor will provide all the necessary processing power to run even the most demanding applications and allow for seamless multitasking. The 15.6 inch display gives users a big enough screen to fully enjoy the graphical prowess of the machine, with a stunning 2880 by 1620 pixel resolution.
The laptop comes with all the basic ports as well such as an Ethernet port, HDMI port, USB 3.0 ports and the standard audio jack. It has a 802.11 WiFi module and supports Bluetooth 4.0. So connectivity, both wireless and wired, will not be an issue.
At 3.5 kg, the MSI GT60 2PE-495RU is lighter than other gaming laptops but still weighs too much to be considered mobile. As such, the MSI GT60 2PE-495RU is rather a desktop replacement. As with all other gaming laptops, the high price tag will make anybody think twice before buying it. It does not aim on casual users.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M: High-end graphics card from the GeForce GTX 800M series.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4800MQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.7 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.7 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
