Reviews for the MSI GF75 Thin 10SDR
According to MSI the GF75 10SDR-253 might become one of this holiday seasons's best-selling notebooks. You get a six-core CPU, a 144 Hz panel, and a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti for less than $1,200. Naturally, we had to take a closer look at this price-performance champ.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mobile: Mid range dedicated graphics card for laptops based on the desktop GTX 1660 Ti and therefore the Turing architecture without raytracing and Tensor cores. The performance of the Max-P variant should be similar to an older GTX 1070.
With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.
i7-10750H: On Comet Lake architecture (4th gen of Skylake) based processor for big and heavy laptops. Integrates six processor cores clocked at 2.6 - 5 GHz (most likely 4.3 GHz with 6 cores) that support HyperThreading. Manufactured in an improved 14nm process (14nm++). » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
This large display size is used for laptops which are mainly intended for an use on a desk.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.
Usually subnotebooks, ultrabooks and quite lightweight laptops with 12-16 inch display-diagonal weigh as much.

MSI is not present in the smartphone market. As a laptop manufacturer, MSI has a medium market share and is not among the Top 10 global manufacturers. The ratings of MSI laptops are above average in the tests (as of 2016).
79.8%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
