Logitech relaunching popular MX Master 4 mouse with new version
Over a year has passed since Logitech last updated its MX Master mouse lineup. For context, the company released the MX Master 3S Bluetooth Edition and MX Master 4 simultaneously on September 30, 2025.
For the time being, there have been no rumours about Logitech launching an MX Master 4S or MX Master 5. According to Roland Quandt, that may be because an entirely different MX Master mouse is on the horizon.
Instead, the leaker reports that Logitech has developed the MX Master 4 SE. Writing on Bluesky, Quandt adds that the mouse is 'incoming'. From that phrasing alone, it seems that he is of the belief that the next MX Master 4 is coming soon rather than later.
Logi MX Master 4 SE incoming. no idea what makes it special.

At this stage, Quandt is unsure what sets the MX Master 4 SE apart from the MX Master 4 (curr. $119 on Amazon). Hence, we would not be surprised if the SE and standard MX Master 4 looked alike. Hardware features remain at this stage, too.
However, companies typically reserve 'SE' for budget-focused variants. Consequently, the MX Master 4 SE appears set to be a cheaper alternative to the existing MX Master 4. What and how many features Logitech has removed or stripped back remain unclear for now.
